"Desolation Sound" is a dramatic thriller in which the relationship between two old friends develops into an existential drama given an extreme situation. The two actresses, Melene Joy and Jennifer Beals, are able to bring to the surface the weight of the past and the unsaid by means of little gestures. There are many films to which director Scott Weber is indebted: from Hitchcock's and Lang's to DePalma's and Lynch's. This film won awards at various film festivals. Jennifer Beals is the unforgettable star of "Flashdance".
