After the success of the biopic "Stefan Luchian" which was based on the life of the well known Moldavian artist, Nicolae Margineanu directed this war drama in which the lives of two different men divided by conflict are portrayed. "Intoarcerea din lad" came out of the Eastern European market with the international titles "Back from Hell" and "Return from Hell". With strong flashes of melodrama, Margineanu once again confirms his talents as a director.
