Archaeologist and explorer extrodinaire Lara Croft journeys to a temple sunken underwater that leads to a sphere that contains the mythical Pandora's Box, only to have it stolen from her by Chen Lo, the leader of a Chinese crime syndicate, who's in league with a villian named Reiss who wants to use the Box as a doomsday weapon. Facing her greatest challenges yet, the intrepid tomb raider pursues Lo, in order to get her hands back on Pandora's Box, and fulfill the desire of the Queen.

“Tomb Raider” is videogame heroin Lara Croft’s first adventure, it is a sci-fi adventure film that won’t let the old and glorious Indian Jones fans down. It is the story of the gorgeous Lara who sets out to find a relic that can control the flow of time. Angelina Jolie is perfect in the clothes of the adventuress, and Simon West’s direction doesn’t lose a beat orchestrating explosions, breathtaking set pieces and races against time. The American diva did most of her stunts and ended up with quite a few real injuries. The sequel is “Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life”
