This is a classic thriller in which a man finds himself, despite his best efforts, in situations he would prefer not to experience. As in the best film noirs, there is an unavoidable destiny which can not be escaped from, a seductive and brazen character, and a woman who is nothing else if not fatal. "Purgatory Flats" is a medium to low budget film that should be seen. The director is Harris Done, who had already made "Storm" starring Luke Perry.
