Play4film's point of view:
"Soul Searcher" is one of those rare examples of a film in which the good taste and efforts of the director and technicians manage to compensate for the shoestring production. Although it is decidedly low budget, "Soul Searcher" is a respectable fantasy-horror film with metaphysical ambitions. The plot is original and enthralling and the amateurish special effects recall times gone by and are all the more charming for this.
